Our Story
The Cheeky Brit exists for one reason: American snacks just weren't cutting it.
After moving to the United States in 2017 and hopping across four different states, we found a lot to love about our new home. But when it came to sweets and crisps, something was missing.
Originally from Gloucester, England, James Potts grew up on the kinds of treats that are part of everyday life in Britain— chocolate bars, crisps, sweets, and drinks that simply aren't easy to find in a typical American shop.
So he did what any homesick Brit would do... he started importing the good stuff from across the pond.
What began as a way to enjoy familiar favorites quickly turned into a passion for sharing them with friends, family, and anyone curious about authentic British treats.
Today, The Cheeky Brit is all about bringing a little taste of Britain to Eastern North Carolina. Whether you're a British expat looking for a taste of home, a Harry Potter fan searching for something magical, or simply someone who loves trying new things, we're excited to share our favorite British goodies with you.
